There is a review of Panasonic GF1 now on dpreview.com with great comparison to EP-1. Worth reading. Review is as always on dpreview very thorough with lots of comparisons. In conclusion the DR and JPEG output are worse than on EP-1, the AF is much faster, the RAW output is "stunning"!

It looks that way. On Panasonic Micro Four Thirds (and Four Thirds) cameras there is no orientation sensor - you need to attach lens with OIS (optical stabilization) to get correct orientation information in your photos.

A user on dpreview.com forum posted a thread with information that Panasonic G1 won the title of "best entry-level DSLR" in UK magazine Practical Photography. Quite good for a camera thats not even a DSLR. :)

43rumors.com informed that there probably won't be any more cameras or lenses from Panasonic in 2009. This shouldn't surprise anyone since this year Panasonic gave us G1, GH1, GF1 and many m4/3 lenses. Three lenses previewed erlier - the 100-300mm telephoto lens, 8mm fish eye and quite interesting 14mm/2.8 will all be made availablein 2010.

Dpreview.com reviewed the Panasonic 20mm/1.7 - small, pancake lens with good minimum aperture for Micro Four Thirds cameras. The conclusion was that the lens is an "excellent lens, especially considering its tiny size".
